TIBETAN BUDDHIST CENTRE Donation Policy
Tibetan Buddhist Centre is an independent non-profitable organization, we rely on the support of donors and benefactors to run our activities of spreading pure Dharma teachings and organising meaningful and beneficial activities to help people. In accordance with the Singapore Charities Act, Tibetan Buddhist Centre is not a registered IPC, therefore all donations made to Tibetan Buddhist Centre is not tax deductible.
1. APPLICATION OF POLICY
The Donations/Refund Policy applies to anyone who makes an on-line donation via www.tibetanbc.org. As your donation is being made online without our assistance or involvement we ask that you complete your details and the amount of your donation carefully as it involves a substantial amount of administrative time to deal with and rectify any errors.
In summary:
Donations are non-refundable.
All credit card transactions will be processed in Singapore dollars.
2. Errors in Amount Donated
Should an error be made in the amount of any donation, the donor has 30 days in which to notify the Tibetan Buddhist Centre of the error. All requests for amendment must be made in writing by post to Tibetan Buddhist Centre, 281 Jalan Besar, Singapore 208944. The request should have the details of the initial donation including
Date of Transaction
Amount donated and details
Full name of the donor
Nature of the error
